For calibration-dependent field teams

Your meter is at the lab. Is Tuesday still covered?

Onvanto puts lab trips and jobs on one board. You see which job loses its instrument before it happens, and a qualified person decides what replaces it.

No sales call, no card. Free during early access.

Fictional instruments and jobs. The board follows Onvanto's own rules: day overlaps count, an approved replacement never takes another job's booking, and moving the trip clears the approval.

Why lab trips go wrong

One to two weeks. That is how long a lab often keeps an instrument.

The spare is out. The loaner you counted on is on another job that week.

The sheet does not know. A due date in a spreadsheet says nothing about Tuesday's inspection.

How it works

From planned trip to released instrument, nothing slips through.

  1. Plan the trip

Give the lab trip its calendar days. Every job that needs that instrument in those days shows up at once, including weekend overlaps and double bookings.

  2. Approve a replacement

A qualified person picks the replacement for the whole trip and writes down the scope and the reason. Onvanto never decides suitability, and an approval never takes an instrument away from another job.

  3. Hand it over

Every instrument gets an Onvanto QR label. At handover the field app scans the label, and only the exact instrument counts. Not a look-alike, not a guess.

  4. Wait honestly

An expected return date is an estimate. When the lab cannot say, the return stays unknown and the instrument stays unavailable. Onvanto does not invent a date.

  5. Release after review

The certificate PDF stays with the instrument. Release needs a recorded return, a matching serial number, an explicit review and a decision note. A serial that does not match blocks the release.

Portal and apps

The office plans in the portal. The field works from the app.

The Onvanto planning in the company portal: one availability conflict, and the lab shipment of M-17 shows that job J-207 overlaps the lab window without an approved replacement.
The team page of the company portal: a member's role and a separate qualified checkbox, and an invitation form that creates a personal link.

Built for certified work

Clear about what software should and should not decide.

A person decides

Suitability, intervals and release are human decisions, written down with a reason. Onvanto checks the planning and the document identity.

Running the account is not technical authority

An owner or administrator is never qualified by default. Someone grants that on purpose, and the grant is logged.

No silent overwrites

When two planners change the same record, the late change is refused and shown. You refresh, look, and decide again.

Every change on record

Planning, certificates and decisions are saved together, with who did what and when.

Stored in the EU

The company records and the planning live in Cloudflare's EU jurisdiction. No analytics, advertising or tracking in the service.

Leave whenever you want

Export the planning yourself. An owner can delete the whole company, and you can delete your own account, both without asking us.

Who it is for

Teams whose jobs depend on calibrated instruments.

Inspection, installation, commissioning and test teams of a handful to about fifty people, sharing dozens to hundreds of portable instruments between people and sites, with external calibration on a regular cycle.

Coming from a spreadsheet

Start with the list you already have.

Import up to 500 instruments per file. Every row is checked before anything is saved, so a bad row never leaves you with half an import.

Questions

Do I need to talk to anyone to get started?

No. You sign in with your work email, create your company and invite colleagues yourself. Support is in writing, at [email protected], and a person answers.

Does Onvanto decide whether a replacement is suitable?

No. A qualified person records the replacement with its scope and reason. Onvanto checks that the planning and the document identity add up. It makes no calibration judgement.

Does it work out when calibration is due?

No. You can record the interval your company decided, but Onvanto does not calculate due dates or send reminders. It plans the trips you decide on.

What happens when the lab does not give a return date?

The return stays unknown and the instrument stays unavailable until a qualified person reviews the return and releases it.

Does it work without a connection?

Not yet. The portal and the apps work with the live planning, so every decision is checked against the latest version.

Which languages?

The planning and the apps speak English, Dutch, Polish, Romanian, Ukrainian and Bulgarian. The account pages of the portal are in English and Dutch for now.

Where is our data, and can we take it with us?

In Cloudflare's EU jurisdiction. Qualified members can export the planning at any time, and an owner can delete the company with everything in it. Read the privacy statement.

Who is behind Onvanto?

oomny, a small Dutch software company in Amsterdam. Oomny B.V., KvK 88737365.
